When the Spur shuts down, most of the 80,000 cars, trucks, buses and 18-wheelers that travel this road each day will have to go somewhere else. We are the somewhere else.

Thousands of idling engines will spew toxic fumes and Diesel particulates that residents & workers will breathe every day. This is especially bad for infants, the elderly, people with compromised immune systems &children with asthma.  There is a strong statistical link between chronic exposure to heavy traffic pollution, & a higher incidence of heart and lung disease.
