With Spur construction traffic, the City of Houston says Richmond, West Alabama and other neighborhood streets will be "at capacity" or suffer "extreme congestion" during peak hours daily for 3 years. However, this prediction is based on wildly optimistic assumptions.

The real outcome: Gridlock. Think Galleria area at Christmas, every day. You'll sit through several changes at every light. It'll be quicker to walk to your local supermarket. Frustrated drivers will be cutting thru YOUR street, stacking up at YOUR corner. Essentially you’ll be "locked in."
